She was predeceased by: her mother Doris Gilbert; and her sisters, Barbara Dawson and Kathryn Kennedy. She is survived by: her husband Donald Granowicz; her children, Vic and Christie Granowicz; her grandchildren, Cassidy, Gavin and Jace; her sister Jean Barnette (Tony); her nieces, Rachel Swartz (Rob), Cynthia Wells (Bob) and Michelle Mallory; her nephew Paul Mallory (Vilma); and her great-niece Jessica Swartz (Max).
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Annes Catholic Church (106 11th Ave NE, Ruskin, FL 33570). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Apollo Beach Marina (6505 Surfside Blvd, Apollo Beach, FL 33572).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Tribute 2 Life, a 501c3 created by her daughter to benefit special needs and autistic children which was near and dear to Donna and her family. We plan to match any all donations made.
