With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas John Mace of Apollo Beach, Florida, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on January 11, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Baxter and Ruth Martha Mace; and his sister Susan Baxter Mace. He is survived by : his wife Linda; his children, Bevan (Stephanie) of Chevy Chase, MD and Jeff (Ellen) of Washington, DC.; his grandchildren, Isabelle, Sophie, Patrick and Emily; his sister Paula Mace of Apollo Beach, FL; his brother-in-law James Murphy (Marcia); his nieces and nephews, Kim Minnick, Jason Murphy (Cassie) and Macie Bemrick (Brandon); and his pet Austin.
