He is survived by: his wife Libby; and his children, Alex, Marvin Dewar (Bev), Bill Dewar (Patricia), David Dewar (Cynthia) and Karen Voit (David).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lockhart Baptist Church (7601 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32810). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (3329 E Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL 32703). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Lockhart Baptist Church (7601 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32810).
