She was predeceased by: her parents, George Abel and Victoria Abel. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Nekola (Kevin), Mark Stevens (Michelle), Amy Stevens and Heidi Rubins (Dave). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital in Barbara's memory.
