She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Joseph B. Carter, Jr.; her stepdaughters, MiChelle Stevens (Cameron) and Cynthia Fletcher (Jason); her grandchildren, Jacob, Judah, Joshua and Trinity; her nieces and nephews, Amiya and Malachi Hunsinger; her brother Bob (Jackie); her sister-in-law Karen Janus; her stepson Joseph B. Carter III (Andrea); her niece Nikki Hunsinger; her brother Ron Vavrinak; and her parents, Michael (Elizabeth Vavrinak) and Diana.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Victory Church (509 S Park Ave, Apopka, FL 32703).
