We announce the death of Donneta Sandmann (Apopka, Florida), who passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 96. Donneta will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse W. Solomon Sr. and Martha Anna Solomon (Eiler); her husband John H. Sandmann; her brothers, Jesse W. Solomon Jr., George Solomon, Richard C. Rensch and Robert E. Rensch; and her nephew Frederick M. Solomon.
She is survived by: her children, Patti Ann Duncan (Dennis) of Frankfort, Pamela J. Allen (Fred) of Cary, John H. Sandmann II (Kathleen) of Frankfort and Karyn Muller (Michael) of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Christopher Sandmann, Evan Sandmann and Donneta Duncan; and her great grandchildren, Jennifer Duncan and Johnathan Wise. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to organizations that were meaningful to Dee, including the Alzheimer's Research & Prevention Foundation, the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, the American Cancer Society, or the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
