He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold C Fischer and Virginia Randles; his brother Clifton H. Fischer; and his grandson Zane Kelley Jones. He is survived by : his wife Jean O'Berry Fischer; his siblings, Doug Fischer (Judy), Bill Fischer (Liz) and Ann Randles; his sister-in-law Ginger Fischer; his nieces and nephews, Roddy, Larry Fischer (Stacey) and Michelle Fischer Jones; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Anna, Melissa Grace, Laura Abigail, Julianna, Paxson, Levi, Naomi, Hannah and Jet. He is also survived by his family and friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Orangewood Presbyterian Church (1300 Maitland Blvd, Maitland, FL 32751). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens (5050 SW 20th St, Ocala, FL 34474).

Flowers are loved, but in lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to RJ's favorite ministries, Forge, Trail Life or The Navigators.
