He is survived by: his wife Ruby Nell Sasser (Carpenter); his children, Linda Medley (John) and Steve Sasser; his stepchildren, Sissy Vititoe, Alan Patterson, Berry Patterson and Joe Webb; and his sisters, Joyce Broadus and Barabara Holtzclaw (Ray).
