With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Lehive Jr. (Apopka, Florida), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on April 13, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid adieu to John's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration John has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie; his children, Jay, Suzanne, Jeff and David; and his daughter-in-law Adriana. He was also cherished by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In his retirement, Jack's passion was gardening, and upon moving to The Villages on October 29, 1997, Jack pushed an idea to The Villages Foundation for the development of the Shared Harvest Community Garden, which still operates to this day. The family is having a private interment and asks, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (https://give.guidedogsofamerica.org).
