He was predeceased by: his parents, Asbel Cornett and Jewell Cornett; and his brother Michael Cornett. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Cornett; and his siblings, Jack Cornett (Dee), Randy Cornett, Daris Cornett and Hettie Rea. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Highland Funeral Home (3329 E Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL 32703). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Annunciation Catholic Church (1020 Montgomery Rd, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Highland Funeral Home & Memory Gardens (3329 E Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL 32703).
Bud's favorite charity was St. Jude Children's Hospital. If you choose, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
