He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Marilyn Merbach (Bates); his wife Lori Merbach (Fleege); his children, Nicholas "Cole" Merbach and Ashton Merbach; his siblings, Anita Merbach Fosburg (Kevin) and Kyle Merbach; his in-laws, Mike Fleege (Sue), Terry Fleege (Ann), Cathy Mohr (Denny), Jane Miller (Steve) and Tim Fleege; his father Paul C. Merbach; his in-laws, Richard and Betty Fleege (Steines); his sister-in-law Tina Fleege; and his grandparents, Chris, Viola Merbach, Owen and Florence Bates. He was also cherished by his wife of 27 years and two children.
