He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvil Kinsman Fox and Eileen Morris Fox; and his brother-in-law George Guttler. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Ann Evans; his children, Robert K. Fox (Christina) of Fairfax, VA, Jenna E. Fox (Antione Lunghi) of Berryville, VA and Cady M. Fox (Peter Ware Dunn) of Ashburn, VA; his grandchildren, Drew, Emmett, Liam, Charlotte and Franklin; his siblings, David J. Fox (Ariel), Nancy E. Guttler (late George), Alice C. Fox (David Rogalski), Emma and Hunter; his sister-in-law Peggy Evans; Alaina.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Save The Music Foundation, which supports music education for young people.
