He was predeceased by : his father Shane Greenup. He is survived by : his mother Suzanne Smith; his stepparents, Brian and Kimberly; his brothers, Derek, Garrett, Josh, Jeffery, Dane and Reece; his sisters-in-law, Courtney and Kalyn; and his nieces and nephews, Charlotte, Everette, Samantha, Case, Tuck, Bransen and Casey. He is also survived by many loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in Steven's honor.
