He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franklin Lockman and Mary Catherine Lockman (White); and his sister Mary Jo "Tootie" McGowan. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Lockman (McGowan); his children, Jennifer Cord (Mitch) of Mechanicsville and Joe Lockman of Leonardtown, Maryland; his grandchildren, Ryan and Megan Cord; his brother James Lockman (Kim) of Fitchburg, Massachusetts; his brother-in-law Patrick McGowan of The Villages, Florida; his cousin William; Michael White, Sara Ruschaupt and Marie Helm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne's memory to the Chopticon High School Field Hockey program (https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com), which held special meaning to him and his family: Jennifer played there, Wayne coached, and Joe was always around.
