He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Smith and Sylvia Smith; his wife Wanda Smith; his daughter Julia Smith; and his siblings, Arnold Smith, Robert "Glen" Cubbison, Ruth Passzagno and Shirley Welsh.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Smith and Angela Smith; his grandchildren, Paul Smith (Jose), Samantha Buckner (James), Chris Peacock (Fatima), Mike Peacock (Samantha), Rusty Smith, Tiff Smith and Serena Smith; and his great grandchildren, Lila Smith, PJ Smith, Daniel Buckner, Hannah Peacock, Patrick Peacock, Iziak Peacock and Jeremy Peacock.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Loomis Family Funeral Home (420 W Main St, Apopka, FL 32712). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Edgewood Greenwood Cemetery (141 Edgewood St, Apopka, FL 32703).
