He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hackney and Viola Hopkins; his stepfather Alton Long; and his siblings, Joyce Kamofonic and Jimmy Daniels.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Hackney; his children, Michael Hackney (Tina), Patrick Hackney (Shayna), Holly Hackney (David Wynn), Heather Hackney-Wilson (Wayne) and Cydney Hackney (Josh); and his friend Jose Vazquez. He is also survived by Ten grandchildren and One great-grandchild.
