She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Spence and Elizabeth Spence (Barrett); and her brother Doug Spence. She is survived by: her son Scott Bates (Amy) of Arcadia, Florida; her sister Virginia (Tom LeRoy); and her son Harold (Christine Bates) of New Ipswich. She is also survived by four granddaughters and one great granddaughter.
