He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Daughtrey and Shirley Masters Daughtrey; and his wife Nina Daughtrey. He is survived by: his children, Mike Daughtrey (Lynn), Tina Zahn (William) and Tammy Daughtrey; his sisters, Patty Tagaue and Pam Jones; and his grandchildren, Michael Daughtrey, Erica Daughtrey, Brooke Dodd, Lauren Longnecker, Daniel Stewart, John Newman Jr. and Ty Newman. He is also survived by several Great-Grandchildren among extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes (50 N Hillsborough Ave, Arcadia, FL 34266). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Fort Ogden Cemetery (9693 SW Hwy 17, Arcadia, FL 34267).
