She was predeceased by: her parents, Lendon Bernard Knight and Ressie Mae Robinson Knight; her sister Oleta Watson; her siblings-in-law, Ronald Watson, Anna Knight and Lynn Fussell; and her son-in-law Ken Alan Gibbs.
She is survived by: her husband Rodger B. Fender; her children, Deborah Anne Gibbs and R. Brian Fender (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Sara, Andrew, Paul, Luke, Nathaniel, Anna, Philip, Laren and Brennen; her great grandchildren, Lavender and Malakai; and her siblings, Jacquita Hauserman Wydock (Robert), Bernard Gohree Knight (Eleanor) and Leota Fussell Latimer (John).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (48 North Fifteenth Avenue, Arcadia, FL 34266). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sue Fender be made to Gator Wilderness Camp or to Calvary Baptist Church.
