She was predeceased by : her parents, Horace David and Elizabeth Hutchison; her husband Lamar Johnson; and her sister Lena Hutchison. She is survived by : her children, Robert Simmons and Mary Simmons Bowers; her grandson Michael Bowers; her stepchildren, Dale Johnson (Julie), Tim Johnson (Danielle), Lee Johnson (Rita) and Tammy Barlow (Mark); and her friend Rose. She is also survived by twelve step-grandchildren.
