He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Stromsnes Sr. and Mildred Duncan Stromsnes; his wife Hazel Stromsnes; and his siblings, Gerald, Eric, Richard, Dickey Stromsnes and Joyce Stanley.

He is survived by: his siblings, Lloyd Stromsnes (Betty) of Plant City, FL, Brent Stromsnes of Tampa, FL and Barbara Hancock (Lamar) of Newark, Ohio.. He is also survived by his family, friends.
