She was predeceased by: her parents, Spurgeon Benton and Lucille Benton; and her husband O. W. Griffis. She is survived by: her children, Robert Michael Griffis of Archer and Teresa Griffis (Terrie) of Archer; her grandson John M. Griffis (Monica); her great grandchildren, Justin and Emily Griffis of Gainesville; and her siblings, Betty Jean Wright (Archie) of High Springs and Jesse Benton (Kathy).
