He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Lauderdale and Virginia Lauderdale; his son Kenneth Lauderdale; and his siblings, Annette Powers and Steve Lauderdale.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lauderdale; his daughter Carrie James (Gary); his grandchildren, Katelyn James of Atlantic Beach, Florida and Gary James Jr. of Atlantic Beach, Florida; his brother Stanley Lauderdale (Janie) of Elkmont, Alabama; and his siblings-in-law, Libby Lauderdale of Waynesboro, Tennessee and Curtis Powers of Elkmont, Alabama. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
