He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wells Galphin, Sr. and Margaret Colvin Galphin; and his siblings, Mary Louise Galphin, Robert Galphin and George Galphin.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Montgomery Galphin; his children, Gail Cook, Catherine Galphin, Margaret Farrell (Rob) and Richard Galphin (Dorothy); his grandchildren, Angela, Tamie, Tessie, Kristy and Sean; and his great grandchildren, Owen, James, Fiona, Calvin, Dylan, Asher, Reagan and Griffin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to BEAM, The Salvation Army, The Gideon's International, Habitat for Humanity, or Heifer International.
