He was predeceased by: his parents, Flo Salyer (McCoy) and Joe Salyer; his sister Juanita Falk (Salyer); his brother-in-law Matt Falk; his brother Melvin Salyer; his siblings-in-law, Meredith Salyer (Fletcher) and Mick VanAsdall; and his niece Mary Ann Cole.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Salyer of Lakeland, FL, Marc Salyer of Lakeland, FL and Erin Salyer of Auburndale, FL.; his grandchildren, Daphne, Chloe, George and Levi; and his siblings, Deloris VanAsdall and Tonn Salyer of Indianapolis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Crown Hill Cemetery (1200 E Lake St, Knox, IN 46534).
