She was predeceased by: her parents, David Merton Franklin and Doffinia Lucy Franklin; her husband Melford Eldon Olmsted; her son David; her sister Pauline "Toodie" Havens; and her pet Charlie.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Olmsted, Darlene Sabins (Walter "Junior"), Tammy Olmsted, Melford Olmsted and Lucy Drake (Darrell); and her brother Mert Franklin "Butch". She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
