She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Ewell and Nannie Catherine Brickey (Denny); her husband Wilbur David "Bill" Peters; her siblings, Charlie Brickey, Emory Ewell Brickey, Jr., Dorothy Hudson, Lottie Sizemore, Zella Collier and June Freeman; and her great grandchild Maddie.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Whitney; her grandchildren, Theresan Elaine "Tracy" Rowedder (John), Ronald Scott Whitney (Dean) and Roman Lee Whitney (Susan); her great grandchildren, Meaghan, Rachel, Charlie (Erica), Roxanne, Nathan, Tracy, Garrett (Morgan), Zachary, Abigail and Ashlynn; and her great great grandchildren, Landon, Layla, Brantley, Charlie Jr. and Gracelynn.
