She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, James E. Varnes and Alma E. Varnes (Osteen); her daughter Nichole Sevigny; her brother Johnny Varnes; her daughters, Brandy Gaffey (Louis) of Sebring, FL and Melinda Kent (Gene) of Herber Springs, AR; and her siblings, James Nelson Varnes (Elaine) of Caledonia, MS and Dorothy Sphaler (Randy) of Avon Park, FL. She was also cherished by 12 Grandchildren; and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
