It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marcelle Wilkerson of Avon Park, Florida, born in Mascotte, Florida, who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Wilkerson and Ester Wilkerson; her son Ernest Kopta; and her siblings, Raymond Wilkerson, Melvin Wilkerson, Henry Lee Wilkerson, Dickey Slade, Wayne Wilkerson, Gladys Tripp Bailey, Neldean Wilkerson, Marie Russo and Sheila Wilkerson.
She is survived by : her children, Kurt Kopta and Kita Kopta; her sister Pansy Broda; and her granddaughter Kaila Albritton.
It is the family's wish that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Marcelle's name to the Compassion Care Hospice in appreciation of the kindness and compassion they provided to Marcelle and many others.
