Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Cormier and Alma Cormier; and his sister Sandy Duarte. He is survived by: his brother Keith Cormier (Denise); his children, Kelly Purvis and Richie Cormier III (Gina); and his grandchildren, Cali, Maci Purvis, Casi and Rich Cormier IV.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hardee High Baseball, Hardee Middle School Volleyball, or the Avon Park Lakes Baptist Upward Program, where his grandchildren play and thrive, thus honoring his love for family, sports, and community.
