She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Golden and Jewell Wells Golden; her husband Doyle Winston "Winkie" Culpepper; her granddaughter Hannah Stone; and her son-in-law Dana Stone.

She is survived by : her daughters, Linda Stone, Lisa Turner (David), Leta DeMarcus (Giovonni) and Linzy Blalock (Bert); her siblings, Curtis Golden (Mary) and Naomi Golden; and her grandchildren, Daniel Stone (Morgan), David Stone (Bethel), Deborah Stone (Ramon Lopez Fajardo), Amanda Ramsay, Cara Morton (Denver), Kayla Foley (Matthew) and Trae Blalock. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and one on the way; five great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
