He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl C. Aughtman and Mamie Aughtman; his former life partner Brenda Hall Aughtman; and his brothers, Ronnie (Pat Aughtman) and Donnie Aughtman.

He is survived by : his nephew Rodney Aughtman; his daughters, Karen Dubose (Chris) and Kristy Neal (Dustin); his siblings, Jerry Aughtman (Sue), Dale Aughtman (Dianna), Lynn Allen, Susie Allen (Steve) and Ellie Barker; his extended family, Angela Barrow McDaniel, Kenneth Barrow (Melissa), Heather, Whitney, Chasity, Kendyl and Kaylee; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Hana, Trace and Karis; and his great grandchildren, Trenton, Kiley, Wyatt, McKanna and Kennedy.
