She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cook and Naomi Cook. She is survived by: her husband Tom Ward; her children, Gerald Ward (Kelly), Shane Ward (Cheryl), Ronnie Ward and Wynell Badger (Ricky); and her brother Danny Cook (Lauina). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service Crestview (1189 Shady Grove Church Rd, Baker, FL 32531). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church (5595 FL-4, Baker, FL 32531). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at the Goodhope Congregational Cemetery.
