He is survived by : his wife Pamela Johnson of Baldwin; his children, Brian E. Smalling of Middleburg, Scott Johnson (Shelby) of Austin, Charles Johnson of Baldwin and Blaire Harris (Mathew) of Macclenny; his siblings, Marty Johnson (Jeanette), Tony Johnson (Amy), Chris Johnson, Michael Bogart, Marty Bogart of California, Sharon Johnson, Cindy Johnson, Joanne Connell (Michael) and Robin Johnson; and his grandchildren, Emma, Lauren, Bryce, Mason, Myles, Sawyer, Elyas, Nikolai and Sophie.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and at 1:00 PM at the Blackburn-Curry Funeral and Cremation (380 N Lowder St, Macclenny, FL 32063). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
