He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Edmond Godbold, Sr. and Ruby Louise Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Karen Godbold; his children, Melissa Carr (Stewart), Michael Godbold and Marc Godbold (Diana); his grandchildren, Hannah, Ryan (Heather), Olivia and Nathan; his sister Julia Loeffler; and his aunt Charlene Sanders.
A memorial service was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Baldwin (97 Center St S, Baldwin, FL 32234).
