It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Whitehead of Baldwin, Florida, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Maggie Meeks, Verdell Whitehead Sr. and Alvin Morris Tyga; and his grandchildren, Baylee Sanders, Isaiah, Jauzyiah Bivins, Briston Badger, Kamani Hill and EKenyiah Badger.
He is survived by: his parents, Patricia Polite and Ronald Whitehead Sr. (Judy); his wife Etrenda Badger Whitehead; his children, Jalecia Whitehead, Enya Badger Whitehead, Ronald Whitehead III, EKendra Badger and Kiara Badger; his grandmother Annie Lois Whitehead; and his siblings, Katina Morris, Mikeia Morris, Brittney Polite (Carlos), Luciana Cummings-Steadman and Donte Polite. He is also survived by auntie, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carthage Chapel Funeral Home (929 W Beaver St, Jacksonville, FL 32206). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Life Community Church (113 W 17th St, Jacksonville, FL 32206).
