He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kalwa and Mary Kalwa (Reitiemier); his siblings, Gerald Kalwa, Francis Kalwa, Eleanor Pillar and Dolores Allen; and his wife Rose Marie Kalwa (Morris).
He is survived by: his daughter Denise Sullivan (Thomas A. Sullivan) of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Jettie Sullivan, Brandon Sullivan and Cassandra Jasmin; his great grandchildren, Kayla Stoothoff and Charlee Jasmin; his stepson Peter Morris (Mary); his stepgrandchildren, Lisa Barthelette, Christina Lisatinski, Kimberly Morris and Peter Morris, Jr.; and his sibling's children, Kathleen Kalwa (Frank Preda), Bruce Kalwa, George Pillar and Martin Pillar. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
