He is survived by: his wife Paula Vail-Gerard; his son John Gerard; his stepson Jeremy Vail (Kim); his stepgrandson Keith; his stepson Matthew Vail (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Addison and Abraham Vail; and his great grandchildren, Simone and Serena Ricci. He is also survived by many extended family members, dear friends.
