He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank M. Scott and Jeanne Duncan Scott; his sister Deborah Ann Scott Betz; and his nephew Jimi Lee Blackshear. He is survived by: his children, Heather Marie Scott (Gabriel Alexander "Alex" Barnhart) and Frank Luis Scott of Lakeland; and his siblings, George "Hugh" Scott (Polly) of Bartow, Jeanne Scott Sherrard (Tony) of Lakeland and Vay Scott Zagardo (Larry) of Lakeland.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Community Church (2301 Noralyn Mine Rd, Bartow, FL 33831). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
