She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Harkey and Vera Harkey; and her husband Charles S. Hughes, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Kim Hughes of Myrtle Beach, SC and Charles Hughes (Gwyndolyn) of Bartow; her brother Bud Harkey (Shirley) of Mt Pleasant, SC; and her grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Tidwell, Garrett Earl Hughes and Emily Lyn Hughes.
