He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Joe Spencer and Chuck Spencer; and his brother John Spencer. He is survived by: his wife Ann Spencer; his children, Debi Horn (Ted) and Charles "Chuck" Spencer (Karyn); his siblings, Virginia Surrency, Bill Nichols (Sherrell) and Nic Nichols (Sheri); his grandchildren, Kayleigh (Brian), Hannah, Grant, Brandon and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Baylee, Molly and Spencer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whidden-McLean Funeral Home (650 E Main St, Bartow, FL 33830). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St Thomas Catholic Church (1305 E Mann Rd, Bartow, FL 33830).
