The passing of Clairene McGuire of Bartow, Florida leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 11, 2025 at the age of 89. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bowen and Bessie Bowen; her husband Thomas C. McGuire, Sr.; her son James Turner; and her siblings, Lena Turner, Frank Bowen and Paul Bowen.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Turner of Stillwater, Lena "Marie" Turner of Gant, AL, Betty Gourm (Ron) of Inverness, Carol Johnson (John Marenczuk) of Polk City and Ray "Anthony" Turner (Patricia) of Bartow; and her sister Leola Roberts of Fort Meade. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whidden-McLean Funeral Home (650 E Main St, Bartow, FL 33830). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Florida National Cemetery.
