She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bowen and Bessie Bowen; her husband Thomas C. McGuire, Sr.; her son James Turner; and her siblings, Lena Turner, Frank Bowen and Paul Bowen.

She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Turner of Stillwater, Lena "Marie" Turner of Gant, AL, Betty Gourm (Ron) of Inverness, Carol Johnson (John Marenczuk) of Polk City and Ray "Anthony" Turner (Patricia) of Bartow; and her sister Leola Roberts of Fort Meade. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Florida National Cemetery.
