With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Colleen Mary Drake Nieves in Bartow, Florida, who passed away on July 17, 2025 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Colleen Mary Drake may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her parents, Mary Drake and Gary Drake; her husband Miguel Nieves; her brothers, Kevin Drake (Dana Spyradakos) and Michael Drake (Christina Drake); and her siblings' children, Madelynn and Daniel.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson (1075 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Mother of Sorrows Church (5000 Mt Read Blvd, Rochester, NY 14612).
