He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Robert Briggs and Marylou Gassner. He is survived by: his wife Patti; his sister Barbara Koltz (Michael Koltz); and his grandchildren, Adam Briggs (Amber Briggs), Zach Briggs (Whitney Briggs), Mandi Robinson (Edgar Rubio) and Marissa Roland (Travis Roland). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
