With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Dover of Bartow, Florida, born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, who passed away on October 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his brother Harold Dover. He is survived by: his wife Lanita Dover of Bartow; his son Anthony Dover of Bartow; and his siblings, Pearline Flatt of Lawrenceburg, TN, Edna M Rochelle of Lawrenceburg, TN, Christine Jacobs of Lawrenceburg, TN, Vickie Litrell of Lawrenceburg, TN, Bobby Dover of Trinity, AL and David Dover of Lawrenceburg, TN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
