He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice McDaniel and Faye McDaniel (Hayes); and his stepfather Bill Padgett. He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Dean McDaniel (Mary) of Columbia, SC and Marilyn McDaniel Capps (Glenn) of Portal, GA; his close friend Vickie McDaniel of Lakeland; his daughter Jodie Hayes (Robert) of Grovetown, GA; his stepson Michael Burke of Lakeland; and his siblings, C. Ray McDaniel, Myra McDaniel Horninger and Marlene McDaniel Lewis. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
