We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2025, at the age of 75, Sharon Louise Lewis of Bartow, Florida, born in Plant City, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sharon Louise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sharon Louise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her son Douglas Hamm; and her stepdaughter Melissa Faircloth. She is survived by: her husband Hershel Lewis; her son Mathew Scott Hamm; and her stepchild Leslie Selph. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whidden-McLean Funeral Home (650 E Main St, Bartow, FL 33830). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church (1125 Hwy 17, Bartow, FL 33830).
