She is survived by: her daughter Gwendolyn Nekepemi; her daughter-in-law Josephine Battles; her siblings-in-law, Mary Alice Roberts, Margaree Simon and Rosell Battle (Feenie Mae Turner); her stepsiblings, Beulah Kelly and Lou Gene Napier; and her grandchildren, Andrea Wolfolk, Glennis Jones, Treobia Battles, Juan Battles, Deischal Battles, Loy Washington, Sherida Williams, Malcolm Battle, Michelle Battles and Jerome Battles Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Providence Missionary Baptist Church (1030 King St, Bartow, FL 33830).
