He is survived by: his children, Dennis Hewett (Kimberly) of Dothan, AL and Kelly Hewett (Cindy) of Bascom, FL; his grandchildren, Cody Hewett, Emily Hewett (DJ), Amber Manire, Kirsten Hewett, Kaylee Long (Lance), Sarah Fender (Andrew), Tyler Blayne Hewett and Cole Hewett; and his great grandchildren, Everleigh Edwards, Weston Colson and Stella Kay Koopman.
