He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Ditty and Lavada Ditty; his wife Mildred Ditty; his sister Jewell; his brother-in-law Hinton Shackleford; and his close friend Charles Chambliss.
He is survived by: his children, Darryl Ditty (Barbara) and Rebecca Whiddon (Paul); his grandchildren, Stacey Warden, Marcus Ditty, Amanda Hertensen (Will) and Ben Whiddon; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Warden, Eden Warden, Kimber Hertensen, Harlan Hertensen and Jensen Hertensen.
The family request, in lieu of flowers, donations be given to Hickory Grove Church, or the Michael J. Fox Parkinsons disease research foundation.
